12 of 16 Brickell Brokers reviews

THIS COMPANY IS A BIG FRAUD... Their agents JUAN NICOLAS GUEVARA and his wife ILEANA UMPIERRE will team up to offer you their services then will ask you for a direct deposit to their escrow account that " will be applied to your rental" this people will team up to give you mislead information and create a plan of action. Juan Nicolas Guevara and his wife and their broker David Cevallos will then hung up the phone and not take calls...

BE CAREFUL DO NOT HIRE THIS PEOPLE.....

THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR A DEPOSIT TO THEIR ESCROW ACCT....

DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY, THEY WILL MAKE UP A STORY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DISAPPEAR...

THEY STOLE $1,500.00 FROM ME AND TEAM UP TO CREATE A STORY TO SUPPORT THEIR SCAM.....

I totally disagree with you! Brickell Brokers is an honest company and anywhere you go to rent a cheap apt for $1500 they will always ask you a an escrow to present along with you offer as prove of good faith to the property owner. Perhaps your credit score or background check wasn't good enough. I really doubt they took you money...why you didn't take em to small claims you were supposed to have proof you gave them the money...I don't believe anything you're saying you're full of bologna...

After months on the market trying to find a nice place in the greater miami area I, by chance, encountered Lleana and Juan. My experience with the was excellent! They helped my find a place within my budget and negotiated a good deal for me as well.

It's doubtful that you had a poor experience with them and it's even more doubtful that they kept your money. That is a SERIOUS allegation and, in my opinion, slanderous. If you are simply trying to stain their reputation, doing it through a blog is cowardly. Despite the negative comment presented here, I highly recommend Lleana and Juan. Thank you guys!

This was also not my experience working with Nicolas and Ileana. I was in the market for purchasing a home and though ot was a rollercoaster bc of the seller to get my property closed they fought, supported and made it happen even when I was ready to walk away. I have and will continue to refer them to anyone looking for a realtor.

Dear Mrs Ilka

It is unfortunate that you feel we stole your money, but most of all that you need to create lies in order to support your statement. I have returned ALL your emails and I have proof , and I have tried talking to you several times over the phone but you get angry, start screaming and even said y didn't have anything to talk with me. You SIGNED A CONTRACT and gave us a deposit that was REQUIRED by the landlord NOT US. After having a contract SIGNED you decided to back out and the LANDLORD requested your security deposit money as damages for a contract default. WE DO NOT NEED OR WANT your money! We are an escrow agent, and as escrow agents we need to be impartial and follow certain procedures. I sent you a few emails explaining that we had order an escrow disbursement order to the Florida Real Estate Commission and even sent you a copy of this letter. In the letter it stated that this was not an issue between agents or us as realtors but an issue between landlord/tenant. This means that the FREC can not order how to disburse the funds at that you need to go to court and request a hearing which my broker DID explain to you over the phone. We CAN NOT return your funds until a judge or a mediator decides how they need to be disbursed. WE ARE NOT STEELING your money we are just following the guidelines of an escrow agent. It would be illegal for us to give you back the deposit when the landlord is also requesting it. If you read to the contract you

It is unfortunate that thi was your experience. Mr. Guevara from the G Team-Brickell Brokers was a life saver in helping me to find an apartment that fit my needs, particularly since I have two dogs. He was very attentive and listened to what I wanted. In addition Ms. Umpierre was also a pleasure to work with. She was also very attentive, easily accessible, and made the process very smooth and painless. Working with this team was a very pleasant experience...I have already recommened them to friends who will be househunting in the near future."

Mrs. Ilka,

I am so sorry that you still feel that we stole your money. It is unfortunate that you need to create lies in order to support your claim. YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT, YOU GAVE US A DEPOSIT THAT IS REQUIRED BY LANDLORD, AND AFTER A SIGNED CONTRACT YOU DECIDED TO BACK OUT. We do not need or want your money, the LANDLORD requested your deposit as a default to contract. We are an escrow agent and WE CAN NOT disburse the money if both parties are requesting the deposit. We follow the REAL ESTATE procedure and requested and escrow disbursement order from the Florida Real Estate Commission which I sent you a copy. As explained the FREC said that this was not a dispute between agents and it was a landlord/tenant issue so you need to go to court and ask for a hearing. Neither Juan , David or I have the money. That money is on a escrow account until a judge or a mediator decides how the funds will be disbursed. We are not committing either a scam or a fraud we are just following a procedure that we need to follow. We can not give you your money if legally you defaulted the contract. It is illegal for use to give you back your money if landlord does not agree to a release of deposit.
